Red Cross

An abandoned children's hospital somewhere in the mountains of Italy.

No history found about this place, looks of the building inside and outside, it was probably built in the beginning of the 20th century, owned by very religious people.

it is said the hospital got its name because of the big red cross painted on the ceiling of the chapel, but it faded when I visited.

Other than the chapel, the dorms with rows of metal beds, children's shoes and empty classrooms,... my guess is this wasn't just a hospital, it probably housed orphans or was a institute,...

What do you think...?

Even thought the building has been abandoned since the 1980s, it's still well preserved.

Not to much vandalism.
