Chateau Hermalle Sous Huy

This castle was the home of many counts and barons.

Originally built in the 12th century.

Only the foundations remain from that time.

In the 17th century, a baron of the roman empire and fortified the castle by digging a moat around to provide it with a preliminary line of defense.
